Monitors /proc/mdstat for disk failures. Tested on a Debian Linux host running kernel 2.6.18-6-amd64 SMP with mdadm v2.5.6.
The host has two drives configured in a RAID1 configuration.
Obviously, I don’t have a sufficient testbed, please let me know if you find errors with your configuration. I can be reached at mark at bluezucchini dot com.
